Hello.
I'm a PhD Researcher at Queen Mary, University of London. My research focuses on the intersection of race, religion and gender in British Politics; specifically addressing the experience of Muslim women in the Labour Party.
Alongside my PhD research, I'm a research assistant on several projects related to public policy and politics in Britain. I also teach undergraduate modules at Queen Mary.
In the past, I've worked in Parliament and regional government and am currently an elected local councillor in East London.
